Crafting question, not all materials are available?

Hey guys, so I'm looking at the crafting portion of the guide and it pops up that everything is available to make a Jeweled Onyx Panther... awesome, so I have the gold to buy what I don't have, I start the guide and it tells me to go to the AH and buy, for example 3 Sun's Radiances, but there was only one for sale on the AH, same for Living Steel, and other materials.

Does the guide take into account the number of items needed and if that number is available on the AH, or just if one is out there?

*edit* I forgot to mention that I have the guide set to Easy, and the Status is a green dot, when I hover over the item it says "All of needed items are available on AH. You can craft this item now.".

Another question for you, I popped into my reagent bank to see if there was some stuff in there that I could easily sell on the AH. I hovered over each item and based my decision on what the status reported as, only grabbing the things that said that either the prices were up or the market was empty and now was the time to sell. I ran over to the Auctioneer and ran an apprasial, several of the items were marked with a red dot (stagnant). Am I doing something wrong there, or could it be that with older items (these were feasts from Pandaland) that's just the way it works?

Did you make sure to scan the AH before you started looking at stuff? You weren't looking at the gold guide while it said something like last scan 3 hours ago were you?

No sir, I had just done a scan and then opened the crafting section to see what might be available. Then I noticed it wasn't correct that everything was available, so I ran another scan, then logged all the way out and back in again, same result.

I just now did a scan of the AH, let me check the crafting section... nope, it still says everything is available and I can craft it right now, but when I check the AH for Living Steel there's only 2 available and I need 16 of them (as an example).

Ok, we'll have to look into this. It is possible that it's not looking at how many are needed to craft one item and that will need to be fixed if that's the case. Just to confirm, please open up the guide selection window in game and tell me what it displays in the lower left for the version number.
