Selling Per Unit vs. Per Stack Error

So I just lost about 10k gold thanks to the guide not updating the Per Stack price vs the Per unit price. When I put it on "per unit" the gold guide addon works correctly, but if it is set on per stack, it appraises the stack at the per unit price.

Example: I just posted 10 stacks of 5 sorcerous earth, when I hit appraise it listed the stack of 5 for 58 gold (should have been per item or 291 gold). So I just basically sold 50 sorcerous earth for the price of 10.

This has been going on for awhile, normally I remember to correct this myself by making sure it is set on "per unit", but this time I forgot. This needs to be fixed quick.

You are the only one to report something like this. Do you have any other AH addons running that might possibly interfere with the pricing when you drag the item into the Auctions tab?

I do not have any other auction addons running.

When you open the guide selection window in game (small drop down arrow on guide viewer) what does it show for the version number in the lower left corner?

I have a feeling you either have an old guide version or there's an addon causing this to happen because I was unable to reproduce this error. It changed around correctly for me during testing.

The version number shown is 5.0.11808

Try disabling all other addons and see if it works correctly when the only active addon is Zygor.

It does the same thing with all addons disabled. If I have it set to per unit and hit appraise, then click per stack it updates the price correctly. However, if I click appraise with per stack selected it only gives the unit price for the entire stack.

Are you clicking the Appraise when you already have the item dragged into the Auction tab?

yes, I click the appraise when the item is in the tab.

That is probably what's throwing it all off. The Appraise button is just to update the pricing that's shown in the Inventory window on the right. When you drop an item into the Auctions tab the guide automatically does a scan for that item to get the most current pricing. When it's doing that the numbers for pricing are green. When it has finished and sets the price that's when the numbers turn white. If you switch from per unit to per stack (or vice versa) it will again turn the numbers green and check pricing automatically then the numbers will go white once it has the proper pricing. If you just change the per unit and per stack without clicking the Appraise button does it work correctly?

I am referring to the appraise button near the create auction button, NOT the "appraise all" button below the inventory list.

If I drag the item into the auction tab it does NOT automatically price it for me. It will sit there and do nothing until I hit appraise. Then it does the white/green numbers you referred to.

Step 1: Scan
Step 2: drag item into auction window
Step 3: click the appraise button (near the create auction button)
Step 4: make sure it is on per unit so I don't lose a lot of gold.

The problem you're having should not be happening. I even just tested this step by step for what you listed without any problems. How about trying a game/addon reset test.

1. Exit the game
2. Go to your WoW folder and rename/move your Interface and WTF folders
3. Create a new Interface folder then go into that and create a new AddOns folder
4. Go into your WoW/Cache folder and delete everything in there
5. Run the desktop client and use the wrench icon to reinstall the guides
6. Go into the desktop client settings and sync your realm again
7. Go in game and test to see if you still have this problem

Still the same thing, nothing changed.

I even tried repairing Zygor Guides, but no luck.
