addon skips to the end and says ive done them all, yet i havnt done any on this toon

Which campaign quest do you have available for the week?

That one is in the guide so I can only guess that for some reason Blizzard is telling the guide viewer that you completed the quest when you haven't.

Now I am trying to do Garrison Campaign: Darktide Roost, the second one I have received and the guide is still skipping to the end. Any workarounds?

Try resetting your guides by exiting the game and going to your WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there. Then go back in game and see if that gets it to work properly.

The Horde guide only checks for the completed achievement and if you completed it on another character it will skip towards the end because the achevement is account wide.
The Alliance guide checks for the individual missions which apparently works better.

As a workaround you can hold CTRL pressed and click the previous step arrow to get to step 1 of the guide if you are at the end of the guide and then hold CTRL and ALT pressed and click the next step arrow to get from step 1 to step 2.

Also the Horde garrision campaign guide seems to be missing some of the quests, at least the achievement lists 12 parts and I only saw 6 quests in the guide file and 5 other are commented.

I would ask that the Horde guide be made to act the same as the Alliance guide. Also why aren't all the guides available to horde yet? Also, i followed your WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables path and apparently that folder is empty.

I can't tell you why the Horde garrison campaign guide is not as finished as the Alliance one as I mainly play Alliance and until two days ago did not even have a level 100 Horde character, maybe the guide is being worked on currently.

About the folder with the settings file, there is also a SavedVariables folder inside the WoW\WTF\Account folder and that one is empty on my computer too. Maybe you accidently looked at this folder.
It's also possible if you installed WoW inside the Program Files folder that the addons settings are stored somewhere else as every folder inside Program Files is write protected unless a program is run with administrator privileges. That's why I install all my games into a games folder outside the Program Files folder (and even on a different drive).
I think files changed by programs installed into the Program Files folder get saved somewhere inside the AppData folder (this folder is hidden, you can however access it by typing %appdata% into the adress line of the windows eplorer).

But the problem with the Horde garrison campaign guide is not related to messed up guide settings so you don't need to reset them.
