These might not be something big or useful for other people, but something I found I would find extremely helpful after using Zygor since the early days of the Burning Crusade.
The problem.
The first issue possibly comes from being an altoholic. To keep leveling from becoming boring I tend to change it up a bit. With the speed of leveling I can linger in one zone and skip areas in the next (or even entire zones all together) if I want. Making each leveling path of my character different. However, if I do a quest with a reward I later want to get for another character (pet, mog, etc.) I have to remember which guide and where in the guide it was buried.
By the time I get around to getting the item for my alt I don't remember what guide it was in. I spend forever trying to locate it only to resort to Wowhead and stumbling through what I can remember. What makes it even harder is that in some cases what you think might be in one guide is not, but in another. I believe this is the case with some of the Dailies and Reputations.
Solution.
Allow for us to bookmark steps or guides for a specific character or to share with all our characters (like how macros are). This can be similar to the Recent and Suggest tabs. Allow for us to label the bookmark so we know why we bookmarked it. Like, "Jewelry Follower" or "Hunters Transmog".
My next suggestion I am finding more and more in need of.
The Problem.
Often times you are doing a quest or following a guide and you realize the guide doesn't put it in a away that was very "ah-ha". So you search through Wowhead to figure out what you are suppose to be doing, and then you're like "oh duh!"... until you do that quest with your alt 2 months later and forget about it.
Or say you are working on leveling your leatherworking and you found an awesome place to farm leather... well memories and sticky notes are good enough, right?
Solution.
The option to have notes. Then we can post to the specific guide or step information that helps us individual when using the guide so the next time we go through that step or guide we don't have to research it again.
The design can be fairly simple. Something like this. Can allow URLs that will open a browser or cords that will mark on the map, etc.
I have tried:
http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/notes
http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/simple-notepad
http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/uncl...epad-urnotepad
http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/notes-simple
Some of these are okay, but looking for something more built into Zygor. If I am questing, and getting stuck. I don't want to have to search through another addon, and see if I made a note there then if I didn't search WowHead.
Just two suggestion I thought I would share. Either way been using the guides for many years now. Have tried several of the other guides out there, but have always come back to Zygor.
