working guide?

so when can we expect a working waypoint arrow?
one that does not disappear after a few steps?
You need to improve the packager to allow to downgrade to a stable copy. if you can not make all this stuff work then really you should not be adding any more, we pay for a working addon.

seriously, considering contacting a laywer

someone should fix and release a working guide viewer as by Blizzards addon policy would be 100% legal

Where exactly are you having a problem with the arrow? Have you tried disabling all other addons to see if it still acts up?

Yes I have tried it, when I load the game it works as you intended it to work. I will finish a step or 2 and then the arrow will disappear. after you click the guide it will work again for a few steps then it will stop working again and you will ether have to

/run ReloadUI()

or click the guide to get it work again..

I do not think there is any errors but I didn't check, I have checked with no addon loaded as in Zygor being the only one loaded. I have also tried to reset the addon by deleting the SavedVariables file.

When I get home tonight I will check to see if there are any errors.

If you are still having problems with the arrow disappearing like that then try doing a full guide wipe/reset.


1. Exit WoW
2. Go to the WoW/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
3. Go to the WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. Run the installer client and install a fresh copy of the guides
5. Go back in game and see if that fixed it

this may sound dumb and it should not matter but my custom talents would not be the cause of it would it? as I have been having a problem that I have reported in the past with the talent part of the addon

Custom talents shouldn't be causing any problems. You could always test that by just taking them out of the folder.

Sorry for the late replyI was out of town for some time. deleting the saved file didn't help, when the travel system is turned off the waypoint dose not work properly, I am soon going to go after paypal and visa for my money back as this has not worked right since I paid for it

This is an open bug ticket in for our dev team. If the Travel System is disabled then the arrow isn't working. The only work-around for this right now is to leave the Travel System turned on until we're able to get it fixed. You hadn't stated before that you had the Travel System turned off and so I thought you were having a different problem.
