Gear Suggestions wholly unreliable

I'm a huge fan of Zygor's guides, I have happily paid for many expansions worth, and will continue to do so, they are so much more awesome than not, I hate to post something (constructively)critical without acknowledging how overwhelmingly awesome they are first.

That being said, I have found that the gear suggestions portion of the Zygor interface is not something I can trust like I trust the rest of the guides? The gear suggestions are either incomprehensibly wrong, blatantly wrong, or maybe just barely wrong about 40% of the time they suggest something to equip.

I'm only posting this in the hopes that you Zygor's folks will turn the focus of your giant brains towards your gear suggestions, and get that sh*t fixed up!!

Did someone say there was a dialog box somewhere that shows WHY Zygor's wants to change one doodad with another googaw?

Warlords of Draenor proved to be one of the more challenging expansions for us to update for. The beta was much shorter than usual and Blizzard introduced many changes to the way items are handled internally. On top of that they made changes to the item attributes that needed to be adjusted. These aren't excuses, but simply the reality of the situation.

Needless to say we're doing everything we can to get this feature working great again. We just released a new update yesterday that should be a marked improvement, but there's still some work that needs done.

Glad to hear your team is working on a solution. Currently I'm not getting any suggestions or gear changes at all.

The update should fix the quest reward portion of the problem, but that might still give some users problems until we can find the rest of the bug for the gear suggestions to get that fixed.

Today's update to the guides has resolved the Auto-Accept and Auto-Equip issues that has been plaguing us all for some time now. Just thought I would post that here in case others need confirmation.

Not resolved here I am wearing 308_ Gear, its telling me magistrate terrace is the place for me and to get in t0 level 110-125 gear

When you are in game please open up the guide selection window (small drop down arrow on the guide viewer) and post a screen shot of that window.

Is this guide ever going to work properly? I am still getting suggestions to replace my current gear with gear 100's of ilvls lower.

This usually happens after hearthing if that points you in some sort of a positive direction.

This has been fixed for a while. Please make sure that you have the latest update to the guides being used in game.

So it looks like my guide has been giving me incorrect information for a while. I have been consistently updating all of my guides anytime there is an update available but the guide client updater has not been modifying any of the actual guide files. The files were last modified the date that last I reinstalled the guide. I tested this with today's update and saw the same results. downloading the update basically changes only the displayed version number in my guide client viewer and nothing else. In order to update the files to the current version I had to do another reinstall.

Obviously this is not ideal and there must be a solution.

The client will only modify a file if it's been changed. The last few updates would have only modified the files in the Guides folder. Also, in order for the in game version number to change it means the client had to modify the Ver.lua file.
