I just levelled 90-100 Alliance using the guide with very little problems, it was fantastic. Gear guide and dungeon guide will need improvements, but levelling is a solid backbone right now!
I remember one or two greyed out quests that I couldn't pickup, even though the guide said to. No stress, skip it, move on. There were no progression consequences in either of the situations I encountered.

It is step 94 that I am stuck at. "Accept "Speaker for the Dead" from Vindicator Icia. I am standing right in front of her and no quest is available. I have gone back and started at step one and I get to here and it fails. This locks me up for the next time I have to talk to her which locks me up for the rest of talador.

I see a whole lot of quests listed in the watch window. Are you by chance at your quest log limit?

Ummmm NO. Even if I was I would still see the quest giver with a quest, I would just not be able to accept it. There is something missing which is why I am not getting a quest from her. I have completed all the steps up to here.

I'm not finding anything stating there is any kind of pre-requisite for this other than being level 95 which you have covered. Can you go back to the Shadowmoon guide at step 1 and fast forward thru that to see if any quests were missed. Then the same for Gorgrond. Then one final time thru the Talador guide from step 1. Just to see if there's something that was missed anywhere in the WoD guides.

Someone mentions at wowhead, that a follow up of the legion quest chain starting with "Speaker for the Dead" only became available after completing the Gordunni quests (in that case it was the mage tower quest chain).
However looking at the guide file in both branches for the outpost buildings the Gordunny quest chain is done right before this. So I don't see any missing prerequisite.

Is it possible that you stumbled across another breadcrumb for this quest chain? I can't remember if it was because of the guide not being finished at that time but with my first character I think I picked up some breadcrumb quests from other NPCs that the guide says. But i may be wrong.
You can try to ignore the breadcrumb quest and continue with the guide, it's possible that it is not necessary.

In Shadowmoon I only show #204 as open. "Accept Crippled Caravan". The quest giver has no quest.

It then fast forwards to Gorgrond # 279 "Accept News from Talador" from Vindicator Maraad but he has no quest either. From there I fast forward to Talador #94 "Accept speaker for the dead". The quest giver has nothing though.

If I fast forward past that one I go to #231 Vindicator Icia "Accept news from Spires of Arak. but they give no quest either.

If I fast forward again I stop at 232 Talk to foreman Eksos "accept an audience with the Archmage" But eksos has no quest again.

From there on out there is not much I can do. Everything is locked up for Talador.

I'm thinking that all of the ones that it's stopping at and you are unable to get are breadcrumb quests. Those normally are no longer available to obtain after you've done any of the quests at the place they take you to or from the NPC they have you go talk to. Since you're already 100 this could easily be the case. It's also possible that you've already done all the quests you can in the Talador guide.

If he did all quests in the Talador guide this partivular step would be green.
The suggestion about breadcrumbs not being available after starting a zone seems to be correct.
I think for example the "News from Talador" will not be available if you did one of the "The Critical Path" quests:

A character with sufficient level to enter Talador will be able to pick up the quest "The Critical Path" at the garrison wthout finishing Gorgrond.
So maybe the steps to accept a breadcrumb quest inside a zone (and possibly, if available, the quest from the end of the zone guide to the garrison) should only be shown if the breadcrumb from the garrison to enter the next zone was not finished.
