Well, its been 2 weeks since my original disappointed post and things may have improved a little, but the alliance guide is still stuffed with problems, missing quests, quests unavailable etc etc.

I have leveled most of my characters without the guide and have been left feeling cheated. now if i had not pre-ordered(something i'l never do again) this guide well in advance of launch i would flat out be asking for a refund as i believe your advertising of this product is misleading currently.

I'm sure that you will eventually get it fixed and it will be great as most of your other products are but it wont be of any use to me.

Therefore i call upon Zygor to at least give a little back to the community that you have let down. I do not think that this is unreasonable.

When is the last time you updated? The Alliance 90-100 leveling guides should be fixed now. What issues, exactly, are you still encountering? Thanks.

the most recent problem was missing quest in talador.

Step.134 talk to exarch maladaar, accept Holding the line.

the npc does not offer this quest. This is just the latest of numerous issues of which I've had to many too list since launch.

safe to say the The claims in your advertising "reach 100 in the fastest time" and "optimised questing route" are far from true if its faster to level without the guide than with it. both these statements should be removed until the guide is 100%

like i said in my post im sure you'll fix it eventually but at that point it will be no use to me.

If Holding the Line is not available then there is some unknown pre-requisite for this quest. I can find no information anywhere that would give a reason for this to not be available. The only requirement I can find for this quest is you need to be level 95 to accept it.

Are you sure you've completed everything in the Talador guide up until that point? The Talador guide was reworked very recently, and some things were rearranged. Perhaps your step number was remembered, but the rearranging of things caused you to miss some quest(s) without you knowing? Try going to step 1 of the Talador guide and right-clicking the Next Step button to fast forward the guide through everything you've completed. Maybe you'll find something that's not completed, which will unlock this quest for you.

ok, after relog went through the guide for talador and retraced the steps, seems more than a few have changed since i started, bonus objective orunai coast was one so upon completing that step (58) guide then jumped to step (84) cross the bridge, said bridge is behind a large purple barrier that is unpassable....this process just so far has taken more than 20mins in which without the guide i would have done half the zone already...

When you are in game and you open the guide selection window what does it display in the lower left for the version number?

Can you go to your WoW/Interface/Addons/ZygorGuidesViewer/Guides/Leveling folder and let me know the modified and created dates for the ZygorLevelingAllianceWOD.lua file.

i did a fresh install before just to double check it wasn't a problem with that.

Can you post a screenshot of the guide step and the bridge being blocked by a purple barrier? Thanks.

Also, try manually click back a few steps in the guide from the step you're having trouble with, and follow from there to see if that helps. It may be that the guide was bringing you into an area from a certain direction, but since you've skipped about 30 steps or so, you're trying to enter the area from a different direction and running into trouble?

I have version 5.0.11113 and am having the same problems and more. I went back to step one and did everything you requested and still missing quests. I even deleted everything and started from scratch and still having the same exact issues.

Since I deleted and reinstalled it shows today's date in the above folder.

The strange part is I used your updater to delete everything and I reinstalled and it still shows the same step I was on. I deleted everything Zygor in the addon folder and reinstalled and still at the same exact step. There has to be a preference file I am missing or something since it is always in the same guide step.

How do I delete EVERYTHING Zygor and start from complete fresh. EVERYTHING!

The installer client does not delete the settings file when you do a reinstall. If you want to reset the guides go to your WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there.

Can you post a screen shot of the barrier you're having a problem with along with it showing the guide viewer step?
