Gold guide question

I know it's probably being put on hold until the main guides are cleaned up. But had a question about the gold guide.

On the information page it says that there are no other addons required. Does this mean it'll have it's own scanner and not rely at all on Auctioneer or Auctionator scans?

That is correct. The addon has a built in auction house scanner so you don't have to use any third party addons like Auction*r.

Will I actually have to scan the AH? One of the best features of TSM is that it's desktop app keeps my AH data up to date and I never have to scan the AH.

Agree. I'm concerned about this, even though I'm excited to purchase the gold guide. Will anyone who has moved onto TSM with the associated app, wowuction data and up-to date prices see a benefit in moving over to the Zygor auction addon? Old-school manual scan is super dodgy, from experience I don't trust my own subjective scan data. I guess it will be a big step-up for entry-level auction house players, but maybe a step backwards for more advanced goldmakers. I'm hoping that at least the simplicity of "this cloth is selling like hotcakes, here's how you farm it" will make the purchase justified. I've never exploited TSM crafting or pursued gathering routes, so this will benefit me for sure. Are there other features I'm missing?

We will be have lots of information and videos on how Zygor's Gold and Auctions guide works and what all of its features are the week leading up to its launch. Can't say much now but going off your comments I think you'll be quite satisfied
