Would really love if we had a way to use the waypoint system to find the fastest way to X.

You do. Simply Shift + Click anywhere on the Blizzard map and the Travel System will find you the fastest way to get to that spot.

Speaking of flight, Flight Masters/Paths - Possible to add a seperate guide that will take you from say flight master A through to flight master Z? This, would take you to all flight masters so the flight paths are then discovered, rather than at level 100 having several flight points still missing. As an example, the smart injection system caused me to completely miss all of Frostfire Ridge.

There is one started that is associated with my cabby account. You can find it if you search for flight path follies. I don't maintain that custom guide anymore since I've been busy with other work so it only has the flight paths for the 1-60 zones.
