HILLSBRAND BATTLE PLANS STEP 78

Hi,..i'm having an issue horde guide step 78,im with KINGSLAYER ORKUS where he kills the Hillsbrand battle master,.then I go and loot the B.M.,FOR BATTLE PLANS Then fly off the island,..but the plans are not on the body, of the B.M.,.I Have logged of,ect but it must be a bug,..can you tell me which step to carry on please?

That is right near the end of his little quest line so there should be very few steps you can't do.

I'm Sorry but I cant seem to pick up ANY quests after this one,as a result of this bug,..can you point me to which step,.I've even tried to go up to the next level(26-29 I think),..but it wont let me pick up anything,...any thoughts help?

Ok, looking this up it seems it's been bugged for a little bit. The trick is that you need to hit the battlemaster before Orkus does. This might take some quick fingers/mouse work but what you want to do is get yourself between Orkus and the battlemaster so you can be in attack range. Then you talk to Orkus to tell him you're ready and immediately attack the battlemaster before Orkus is able to land a hit. You don't have to worry as the battlemaster won't hurt you but if you don't get the first blow then you won't get the plans to drop. It might take you a couple of tries but this is the known method to get around the Blizzard bug.

Hi,..many thanks for the speedy reply,or I would have been stuck,..:-).....done what you suggested above,..worked a treat,a tad fiddly but got there in the end,just so greatful you got me back on track again,..as a side note,..KINGSLAYER ORKUS,..i will miss him,.one of Blizzards best characters in game,...hope he puts in an appearance in the future,..:-),..once again thanks for the awesome response/advice.
