WoD Guides a disappointment

Before WoD zygor guides were not that bad they weren't perfect add a fair amount of misguided or wrong steps but they worked .. Now since the WoD release they have been nothing but a hassle and a headache completely wrong steps alot of going the wrong way in the leveling. Missing guides all over the place.

Now with a week since launch they are slowly fixing the leveling guides but are still missing guides and still have errors and bugs in the viewer or have systems that still are just not working .. Iv not tried to re level a new level 90 yet but when i do ill test out the first few zones to see if theirs any improvements ..

Overall this release of WoD guides as been nothing but a disappointment .. maybe by the time others are ready and willing to buy they will fix alot of these problems .. but if they don't then don't say i didn't already warn you.

Also the excuses of it being blizzards fault they cant play only worked for the first 2-3 days of launch since theirs been no major que or server problems ..

I can assure you that the first couple of Alliance zones are in much better shape and have only one or two minor bugs now. I'm referring to Shadowmoon and Gorgrond. Going thru them will remind you of all the previous guides. There is still an issue in Talador that we hope to have resolved soon and I'm not sure about the remaining zones as I'm waiting on the Talador fix to test it before continuing on. The Horde side had already been pretty good, it was the Alliance side that was a mess.

It's not just WoD though. Items that weren't previously broken are now causing quite a headache as the guides will randomly shut out of automated progression especially with the model preview. In all fairness though, Zygor is diligently working to fix these errors, and for that, I extend my gratitude.

What do you mean by "items" are "broken"? The Model Viewer should not affect the guide updating to the next step in anyway, can you please elaborate on what you mean by this?

I've been getting consistent errors related to the model viewer, not so much in the WoD, but rather old world. I'll report to the appropriate forums if the issue would arise again. I'm sorry for the delayed response. Related to Guide Testimonials, I appreciate the hard work and dedication to expediting the corrections of these errors. =D

- When I go to get a flight with the guides turned on it sends me automatically to wherever it decides I should go. I've wasted a lot of time having to take second flights to get to where I wanted to go.
- I can't use quest items from the quest log without getting an error message - I have to use them directly from the bags.
- I've found that I end up bypassing some of the quest suggestions because I've found them to be a waste of time (such as the arena in Nagrand.)

You can disable this by going into the travel system section of the options and un-check the take flights automatically option in there.

This is a Blizzard bug that affects several addons. Someone has created a work-around by replacing the quest watcher frame with a copy of it until Blizzard fixes it's bug. You can get that fix here: http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/questitembuttonfix

This is simply a matter of opinion. Why do you feel the Nagrand arena is a waste of time? It's XP that's able to be obtained without having to travel half way across the zone and back and it's several quests right in one spot.

I finally figured out that I could disable the auto flight in the options, thank you. I originally thought it was the game since it was a new expansion. When you implement something like this it would be helpful if you didn't make it a default. The purpose (for me) of having a leveling guide is to save time, not use up more time on useless flights.

The Nagrand arena has been a massive waste of time for several of my characters (I have several alts.) My warrior went through fine, but then some of my other's had a great deal of difficulty. I just bypass it now. Dying over & over doesn't translate into XP that's able to be obtained. This is also not the only quest area I have been avoiding that come up.

I liked Zygor guides in the past, they've been a lot of help, but in this expansion they've really just gotten in the way. I really regret getting the profession guides in particular. But, a deal is a deal. I'll run out my time but at this point I can tell you I won't be renewing in the future.

Taking flights automatically has been around since MoP came out and is not a new feature. You may have had it disabled the whole time so never knew about it.

I will say this: NOTHING is ever 100% bug free....There is always going to be a bug, whether it is with or without zygor. Now zygor is working to resolve the issues, and yes....They might release it saying "OH, there are no bugs" but they really dont know all the bugs till it actually goes live. So, you mean to tell me it wastes time by taking 2 seconds to disable an option that I know has been there since MoP and I quit playing for a year and a half. IN fact, when I came back first thing I did was purchase zygor leveling for wod....Some people like the auto flights, others don't. That's why there is an OPTION to turn it off. Things will always change....You don't have to like every single change, but you also don't have to use those options you don't like. One thing I dont like is the gear suggestion thing in Zygor, but I figured out I can just ignore it. I am still looking for a way to turn it off in game, I only don't like it because it doesnt suggest gear upgrades. I could have item level 615 on and it will recommend I switch that gear peace for an item level 600....so yea, doesnt really work for me. lol But I find I can ignore by telling it not to show up on my screen If you dont like something thats only 1 feature....just turn that portion off....if its one guide, then you can uninstall the guide.

You can turn off the gear suggestions in the Gear System section of the guide viewer options. Just turn off the system (uncheck Enable Gear System) and it will stop the suggestions. And the problem you're seeing is a bug in the gear system that we are working on fixing, and then it will once again properly suggest an upgrade and not a downgrade.

Thank you Zygor I will turn it off till you fix it, when I see that you guys fix it in a patch then i will turn it on to see if its changed for me on whether or not I like it

theres alot of ff bugs in this zygor version like npc talk to isnt there etc that is suck ss its awful and i hope there will be a péricular like quests to mages etca
