    Missing Guide - Frostfire Ridge (90-92)

    I just bought the WoD Horde guide and i only have the first guide Tannann Jungle (90-90). all the other ones are not there!

    Try doing a full guide wipe/reset.


    1. Exit WoW
    2. Go to the WoW/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
    3. Go to the WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
    4. Run the installer client and install a fresh copy of the guides
    5. Go back in game and see if that fixed it

      I am having this issue as well. I just tried the suggested method to fix it and it did not resolve the problem.

        Open up your battle.net launcher and click on Options (just below the WoW logo) and then select Game Settings. Now on the new window that opens up click on Game Install/Update on the left and let me know what it shows for the WoW folder setting (not the default install directory setting, I need the folder used for game play).

            Ok, open the Zygor updater client and click the gear icon in the bottom right. Now click on Game Installation on the left side and you’ll see 3 folder settings for WoW with magnifying glass icons beside them. Use the magnifying glass icons to make the settings the following.

            Installation Directory:
            D:\World of Warcraft

            Executable:
            D:\World of Warcraft\Wow-64.exe

            AddOns Directory:
            D:\World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons

            Once that’s done you can use the back arrow at the bottom right to go back to the main window and then you can do a reinstall with the wrench to get them installed. That should get it all fixed and working.

                You can try the manual install. Go to the Installation page in the Members Area and click the smaller links under the client download that says "here are links for your personalized guide packages for World of Warcraft". Download that package and extract it's contents to your World of Warcraft folder under Interface / AddOns. From what you said, it should be D:\World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons. The reason you're only seeing the Tanaan guide is because you're just getting the trial version, but I just checked your account and you are setup to receive the full Horde version. That makes it sound like you're either not logged into the client properly so it can see what files you own or you're not updating the guides in the right location. Let us know if this helps and if not we can initiate a remote support session and get the guides installed for you.

                  Thank you so much. The manual installation worked. I followed the instructions in the other steps and it kept making the new folder in my addons section so I don't think that was the issue. I also rechecked my log in for the client and its good as well. Thanks again for the help. : )

                    It almost sounds like maybe you have the check boxes on the installer client set to off. Could you post a picture of the installer client?

                        Yep, there is the problem. Make sure all of those boxes beside the different products in the middle are solid. Having them as hollow boxes like that tells the client to ignore updating those products. If you make them all look solid like the box beside WoW on the left then it will keep your guides updated properly.
