    Herbalism Professions Guide

    Mac, Yosemite 10.10, wow version 6.0.3 (19116), Zygor Ciient ver 2.1.39, download version 4.0.10561

    While running the Herbalism Professions Guide I noticed that everytime the game client flashed a change of zone Name the game hesitates.

    Turn off Zygor and all is well. Turned the addon back on, problems, switch to a levelling guide and problem disappears. It would seem the problem is only related to the Professions Guides, specifically Herbalism. Can’t say whether the others have the same problem.

    Any suggestions on a work around as this is very annoying.

    When this happened were you traveling to a farming path? What was the displayed step when it happened?

      Doesn't seem to matter, right now I’m on step 100 in Crystaline Forest heading towards Zul’drak to follow the path displayed for Talandra’s Roses. I crossed into the Azure Front and when that name displayed upper centre of the screen the game hesitated. I then moved out of there into the Twilight Rivuelet and it happened again. I can be on my own mount or flying from a flight master. Worse is if I forget to switch back to a levelling guide in Dalaran. The game stutters there.

      Doesn’t seem to happen once I got to Zul’drak. I guess a work around would be to switch in and out of the profession guide when not in the zone. Though I would prefer a guide that was set it and then ignore it.

        I'm thinking this might be the travel system causing the small hiccup as it recalculates the path to the zone every time you enter a new area. What happens if you change around the Travel preference in the Travel System section of the guide options? Or maybe changing the Route calculation speed in that section?

          This is the same issue I reported in another thread. I had the mining guide up, I was in icecrown and flying towards wintergrasp. Each location name change causes a freeze. It is more apparent in Northrend than anywhere else. I have not tried since the profession path arrow was added back in this week.
