Horde - Mining with smelting guide

guide tells me to buy 10 silver ore
guide tells me to smelt 180 tin to get to 90
tin only gets me to 75
guide tells me to smelt 10 silver
gets me to 85
guide doesnt do anything because im not 90
i smelt bronze to get to 90
guide tells me to smelt 10 silver to get to 90

now it skipped from 13 to 26, im still 90 and its telling me to learn smelt gold which is 115 O.o

oh and also at the forge the guide tells you to go to in orgrimmar, there is a mining trainer inside that same building but it wants me to go all the way back to the other mining trainer Makaru at 72,35

Buy 90 Tin Ore and 10 Silver Ore at AH.
Create 90 Tin Bars to reach Mining skill of 70.
Learn Smelt Bronze and Smelt Silver skills
Create 180 Bronze Bars to reach Mining skill of 90.
Create 10 Silver Bars to reach Mining skill of 100.

Also, the guide currently is directing you to talk to trainer Gonto at 44.6,78.4 who is located right by the anvil we are directing you to at 44.7,78.0.

hmm ill try to update it again but i run the updater before every time i start the wow patcher ...ive done this for years now. lol

Nope, the files I look at are the same files all of our customers have. I don't look at the dev copy of the files purposely just so I know I'm answering questions with information only the customers would see.

When you're in game and you open the guide selection window (small drop down arrow on guide viewer) what does it display in the lower left for the version number?

Also, you're using an old client for updating your guides. Please log into the Members Area and download the new Java based client for use.

Is that version number what you see on the Zygor installer client or what you see in game on the guide selection window?

in game on the guide selection window, i'm going to uninstall and delete it completely then reinstall it again

It shouldn't cause the mentioned problem but I see a wrong jump in the guide at this position.

The step with the label "sm_75-125" will skip to a "farm" step if the next "skill" step is alreday complete.
The next "skill" step is the one to create bronze bars until mining 90. So far so good.
But the next part is again a "skill" step and there's no "farm" step anywhere near, the next section has the label "farm1".

The Alliance mining with smelting guide has the same structure.

I see what you mean Cartman. Looks like it's just a missing label issue in both guides. The intermediate routing step that skips to farm1 should be labeled as farm that way the first routing step will jump to the 2nd routing step if the bronze bars were completed. Will get this added to our list to get fixed.
