guide disappeared in game

I was questing and then the guide just disappeared in game on my screen,
I relogged i made sure it is checked in my add ons ........

Are you still able to see the message in the chat windows that the guide is loaded on login?

Is the check mark for the guide in the addons listing silver or yellow? Did you make sure that all addons you are running have been updated for 6.0?

yes I can see the message but after relogging etc I still can not see it .it worked before but in middle of quest it went away

the check mark is yellow ,I disabled all add ons to see if it works nothing,but,when I log into my alt the guide works fine

Do you see a Z minimap icon? Try clicking that.

never mind that I looked for it when you mentioned it and the guide appeared again thank you so very much for your help
