Possible to use guides for farming profession resources?

I was wondering if there is a way to use the guides to give farming "paths" for gathering resources once you've outleveled it. For example, I want to farm COBALT ORE for my alt; however, the toon with mining already has 600. So, when I tried to use the profession guide, it just skips through things without giving you the chance to stop and use the "path" for farming cobalt.

Make sense what I'm asking?

It might be nice to have a new category called "Farming" that would allow for things like this. A way to easily get paths to farm particular types of ore, leather, herbs, fish...whatever.

This is already in there. Go into the Professions section of the guide selection window and scroll down to the bottom and you should see the farming guides in there.

Ah! I didn't even notice that -- there it is!

I would still think that a global "section" on farming would be a nice idea to consider. I'm drawing a blank right now, but I can think of several times I've had to look on wowhead for a "path" for a particular quest, reputation, or item I wanted to craft. Also, sometimes you want to farm things like "volatile water" ...not just a particular ore, etc.
