Guide Only to 48?

So I don't get a 48-50 choice from the drop down is this by design? When I read some other posts on here it says the guides are to 50 then working on the vet content guides. I just want to get to 50 using the guide.

While the guide is listed as being 48 that zone guide should get you to 50. Coldharbour is currently the last leveling zone in the game so you can just ignore that 48 in the name of the zone guide.

I see, I just rolled 49 at the end of the guide. Guess I needed to kill more mobs along the path.

Yeah, if a lot of people take out too many mobs from areas as you're leveling you'll miss out on that XP you would have normally gained while trying to reach a destination and if you miss enough of it it can cause you to be a level or 2 behind.
