I don't know if I should use the automated (or advanced) version of the Zygor guide, since it does seem to automatically choose rewards and browse through text, something that would be much slower without the guide. I'm just wondering, is this considered botting? Some reassurance would be nice. Otherwise, very nice addon.

This is not botting. The auto-accepting and auto-turning in of quests is something that Blizzard has designed into the Addon API. If Blizzard puts it in the Addon API then it's safe to use it, and we only use stuff that is in the API to protect our customers.
