So, any advice on levelling transitions?

So, I'm going a Dwarven Paladin, I'm level 5 and about to finish the ice cavern. Suddenly a message pops up saying I'm ready for the next guide. What's faster, just abandoning a half-finished quest to move on, or stay and finish it, and then move on?

Zygor doesn't exactly tell what's faster.

The pop up is the guide's way of showing you the faster route. It will only appear when you have reached the level needed to obtain the quests in the next area. The next area will normally have higher level quests and mobs meaning better XP rewards. This means that normally when the pop up appears you want to just go do that and ignore whatever you had been doing up to that point. And if you do follow the pop up don't forget to clean out your quest log or it will get full and you won't be able to accept any new quests.

All that being said there is one exception to this that I personally follow. That is for the starting areas like where you area. For all the starting area guides (the 1-5 guides) I always ignore the pop up and do that entire guide before moving on. Once I've finished the starting area guide and moved onto the next area I will then follow the pop up suggestions.
