Kun-Lai Summit question

I mostly play Alliance but have finally decided to lvl my horde toon up to 90 and noticed something. Step 98 has you accept 'The Fearmaster' from Lao Muskpaw, Step 99 tells you to talk to Muskpaw, Jr and accept 'Back in Yak', Step 100 is Kill The Fearmaster, and 101 takes you back to Lao to turn in 'The Fearmaster'. Is there a reason I am dragging three yaks from the Yak Wash to kill the Fearmaster only to run them back to the Yak Wash? (Did the yaks at one time help you kill The Fearmaster?

That's just part of trying to keep moving with doing quest objectives before turning in several at a time.
