new update made the guide vanish in game

i can see the circle with the Z in iit, i can hear it cycling through my quests, but the arrow and guide directions are gone. i updates my nvidia drivers an hour ago, then the zygor update and poof, vanishing guide!

Ok, the fix for this is to reset the addon. There are 2 ways you can do this.

1. Go to your C:/Users/<username>/AppData/Roaming/NCSOFT/Wildstar folder and delete the AddonSaveData folder in there. This will reset any other addons you have so may not be the desired method.

2. Go to your C:/Users/<username>/AppData/Roaming/NCSOFT/Wildstar/AddonSaveData/<account>/<server>/<character> folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer_0_Char.xml file in there. You will need to do this for each character you have but this will only reset the guide viewer and leave all other addon settings intact.

Edit: With our latest version you should be able to type "/zygor reset guide" (without quotes) into the chat window to fix the guides and get them showing again.

This is an issue that occurs when we make major changes and the guide doesn't know where you are after an update. We're working on a fix to prevent this in the future but for now you can get the guide working again by deleting the guide saved variables here:
