Zygor guides have disappeared... MIA! Client frozen

Zygor and WildStar have been playing nice for me the last couple of days so I have been happy camper. As I use a few other mods I was pleased that there appeared to be no conflicts and as such I have been merrily wending my way to level 50.

This morning I logged into WildStar and started playing and immediately realized my beloved Zygor guides was not there. I immediately went to check for it in the WildStar Addons and Zygor Guides was not listed.

I decided a corrupt file might be the problem and the easiest way fix things was to uninstall and reinstall Zygor guides. I looked for Zygor Guides in the uninstall programs area of Control Panel and it was no where to be found, MIA you might say. (Windows 7)

Undaunted I clicked on the big Z in my tray and while the Zygor client did pop up it appeared to be frozen. Clicking anywhere on the client was nonproductive and nothing happened.

I am sure that I must have done something on the "DUMB CUPCAKE!!" side of things however any suggestions on how to get things back working would be appreciated.

Many Thanks in advance for any help you guys can be.

The client freezing up is something we are checking into. If it freezes up just press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the Task Manager, go into the Processes tab, and end the java.exe process. Then you can restart the client and it should keep going. If that doesn't work try restarting the computer.

It sounds like what happened is that the client froze while trying to do it's thing in the background and it might have messed with the guide installation. Once you get it running again try doing a reinstall of the guides to see if that gets you back up and running.

Sadly client still frozen and Zygor not showing up in game

I rebooted the computer, loaded WildStar and Zygor was still missing.

I then clicked on the Zygor.exe icon in the computer tray and the client came up however it was again frozen. I did as suggested and ended the java.exe process and brought Zygor up again, still frozen.

I'm thinking a clean uninstall and reinstall may be necessary however I don't know what to do since Zygor guides does not show up in the uninstall menu on Windows. I didn't want to just start erasing files as that can lead to even more trouble.

The client files are stored in C:/Users/<username>/AppData/Local/Zygor folder. While you're in there go into the log folder and send in/post the 2.1.11.txt file so I can have our client programmer look at the log to see if it gives him any insight to what's happening.

You can email it to support@zygorguides.com and I'll make sure it gets to our client programmer.

That makes it almost sound like the Zygor java file was corrupted somehow, maybe while it was trying to perform the self-update check.
