how about making an (automatic) exception when you have activated Gear Guide and running into a quest where you have to wear e.g. Goggles.
Zygor constantly changes the equipment.
I know i can switch it off, and i know i can override, but it would be a nice additional reminder to swap original gear back on.
In other words turn gear-guid off, one step before a questing step to wear gear, and turn it back on, one step after it.
That way, the gear-advisor doesnt pop into my face.
But it would pop into my face after the quest, when i forgot to reequip my original stuff.
