Midsummer questing, how to get to Exodar?

How do I get to Exodar as a horde character? The guide is telling me just to fly straight there, but, when I get halfway my mount drops from the sky and I die from fatigue.

I remember there being a boat from Auberdine or Rutheron village (sp) but I was under the impression it was destroyed with the cata map changes.

Can anyone help me, please?

I believe you can still take a boat from the village over to Exodar. You should be able to hop off the boat before it docks and get out of the water away from the guards. Another possibility (no idea if it will work) is to use a waterstrider mount to ride across on the water if no boat at the village. Can supposedly do this to get from Darkshore to the village.
