Blasted Lands 58 - 60

Step 54 is to click on an abandoned bloodwash crate.

I have looked over this entire area for the last hour and cant find it. Unbelievable time lost on this. Any suggestions?

It is hidden behind one of those little dirt ridge-like small hills (brownish dirt) which is on the right side just as you leave the road and as you begin your approach to the cave. If you have a flying mount, it's easier to find it. Also, if I'm not mistaken, it does not always spawn in the location I mentioned. But, I've always found it there.

Im so frustrated. Just spent another hour on this and nothing. I went to the exact spot behind the rocks on the side of the mountains that the guide waypoints you to. Ive climbed all over the mountains on both sides leading up to the cave. ive looked inside the entrance to the cave. Ive ran around in circles screaming!! everything. The flipping thing aint there. WTF?????


edit: and this being the 58 - 60 guide Im not at 60 yet so I cant fly. I did climb up as high as I could and pan around looking down.

There should be a few of them all over the area. They are the boxes that have the baby murlocs on top of them.

Do you mean the ones that are moving up to the cave? I tried clicking on several of those and it did nothing, so I assumed i was looking for a Abandoned one sitting by itself.

If its the quest that involves pulling a box with the -3 baby murloks on top of them, then no, they are stationary. Usually the two I have seen most often are right next to the entrance to the cave on the left hand side as your looking at it and against the wall on to the right closer to the ocean up a very short path that takes you behind a rock. If I remember correctly, there is also a bug in the game involving this quest where the boxes are pulled half-way and get left behind and they become unable to be picked up until the zone itself resets. You can read others mention how they can't do anything with the crates or find them looking at the comments on wowhead for both the crate and the quest..

Yep, did this quest yesterday and can confirm that I found the crate straight away just to the left of the cave entrance.

So I logged on this morning with the intention of just skipping past this part and ..... It was sitting there right beside where I logged on lol. So I guess its like a rare spawn. Craziness!!!!!!

If you're on a busy server it could be that somebody else had got there before you. I wouldn't call it rare, though - it's been there every time I've done the quest (and I have a fair number of alts).

I loged in 6 times and spent close to 6 hours looking the stupid thing. Just unlucky I guees
