    Pay to Post?

As someone who just became a customer today (2 weeks after finding you guys), i am extremely disappointed to see that zygor only cares enough to allow paying customers to post in their forums?

I had many questions to ask the community/moderators and had to pay a fee of a guide purchase in order to post them? There should be a section where registered, non-paying customers can post their questions and concerns?

    just my 2 cents.

Our contact page is available to all users to send in their questions or comments regardless of purchase. The community forums are one of the benefits of purchasing the full guide, as it's an extension of our technical support services. By limiting posting privileges only to guide owners we can ensure any issues paying customers have are made the top priority and are dealt with promptly. It's possible we may add a section available to all users in the future though. Thanks for the suggestion.

Ya, i do not mean allow all non-paying customers to post in all sections...

I was just talking about 1 forum section, maybe labeled Pre-Purchase Questions and Concerns or something along those lines indicating that this is where you go to talk to the community if you havent paid for the product yet!

hope to see this implemented soon as i had to sift through hundreds of posts and spent hours of timing making a decision that could have been made in 1 post and answered that day

just trying to get you guys more customers by expressing the only concern i had when i was a non-paying customer

I can understand the thought process, but in truth there are thousands of posts a lurker can read to get perspective on the guide owners customer experience with the products; both good and bad. In most cases the questions a non-guide person may ask has already been covered.

Having the ability to contribute to a product forum is usually given to those people with a vested interest in the product that supports the forum pages.

With that said, welcome to the Zygor guides family.

Also, by having to purchase a guide it prevents all those unwanted spam posts for porn or pharmacy sites.

Guess i never thought of it that way, and i was more thinking of convinence for future customers.. but i can now see that allowing non-paying customers to post has its draw backs

Thanks for the replies and im glad to be apart of the fam

It's actually surprising to see something like that isn't included. One forum that allows those who have yet to purchase but is set to admin/moderator approval on all posts (for posters with less than 20 posts, maybe?) might be a good idea.

That said, as Kamchak noted, there are plenty of reviews both on this site and else where to judge the guides by.
