How Can I Use the Gathering Routes from the Leveling Guides?

Now that I've leveled my gathering toons, how can I use the gathering routes to farm the herb/mining items that I used while leveling. I love the moving ants that you place on the mini-map. I've tried backing up from the end of the Gathering Profession guides but that doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?

If you go into the Professions section of the guide selection window you should see at the bottom the farming routes. These are the same routes used in the guides to raise the skills, just put into special guides for just those routes.
