Hiding arrow when viewer closed

Just noticed that the arrow will disappear if you close the viewer with the X in the top right-hand corner but it doesn't hide the arrow if you close the viewer by clicking on the minimap Z icon.

Is this intentional?

That is one of the bugs that is being worked on.

I can't get the arrow to disappear even with the X button

Not too much of a problem though, I just have to disable it in the options each time for now

It was doing this on one of my chars, too, but selecting and deselectingthe option a couple of times fixed that.

In general closing the guide viewer still causes the arrow to disappear, I have no problems with it on any of my characters.
If it does not try what mzanker suggests, it may just be related to the option not getting saved properly.
