Skinning Question

I'm leveling up my skinning on my char and I'm finding that when I Kill a mob and the skinnable text on the corpse is orange, it takes two mobs to level up skinning by 1 point. This doesn't seem right as i remember orange meant a guarantee point and yellow was most likely a point. Is this a bug in WoW? or does this sound right to you guys?

btw, im leveling skinning in hellfire pennisula. My skinning level started out at 300 and is currently 308....every point has taken two mobs to get.

It sounds almost like you're bugged. Orange should be a guaranteed point with very, very rarely needing 2 mobs to get it. Yellow should get you a point most of the time with some points needing 2 mobs. Green should be 1 point every 2 - 5 mobs.

No bug here. This is correct after skill level 300. Always been that.
