Blacksmithing.
I think the blacksmithing guide is not working right. It will not display or pull up any options going to try to reload the guide and redownload it.

I have found that if you have a problem unload the guide then redownload it. This will allow for a fix also make sure you update. You will have to close the game all the way down instead of doing /reload.
Once you are back in the game it should work, I think the main reason I had a problem was because I was already spec'd for Engineering and switched to blacksmithing.
