Existing Customers + New guides ? Re-creating login?

Hi,
Why is that i have to create a whole new account even though i am logged in as a member? I am an existing customer - do i need to make a new account? If so what about my old guides?

Use the Members link at the top to go to your members area. Then in there is a tab marked Manage Guides. Use the dropdown list in the Manage Guides section to get the new guides and have them linked to this account without making a new account.

No, go to the Members Area and click the Manage Products section to add more products.
