Help Needed: Dark Iron Residue

I have finished all the quests in searing gorge but I can't seem to get the NPC to talk to me for turning in Dark Iron Residue. What do I need to do?

The quest associated with those aren't actually in the guides.

As for turning them in, Cata changed it that you need to be revered with the Thorium Brotherhood to be able to turn them in for reputation according to a post at WoWHead. Also, once you hit exalted then you can no longer turn them in. If you're in a guild with the Mr. Popularity perk (5% rep gain boost) then you'll probably be near exalted just from doing all the quest chains to get to the point for turning these in. There's a whole lot of quests you need to do to unlock the turning in of these but the guides do contain them all. If you did finish all of the quests there then you probably just don't have a high enough rep or you've already hit exalted and can't turn them in anymore.

Well if he stops talking when you hit exalted then that is my current issue. Thanks for your quick reply. I will send my extra dark iron to another toon.
