    step 52 has me kill Protector Endolar, which I did, but the guild won't advance even when I press the right arrow to skip it.

        Looks like a typo in the guide:
        step //52
        goto Ashenvale,85.5,56.1
        .kill Protector Endolar ||q 13865/1
        .' Use your Splintertree Axe next to Ashenvale Oaks and chop them down |use Splintertree Axe##45807 |tip They look like tall bushy-topped trees.
        .' Click Thorned Bloodcups and get them |tip They look like red flowers around this area.
        The two pipes before q 13865/1 look wrong, should be only one.
