The Gold Making Guide

Hello, and first off all i will thank you guys for this leveling experience. Never seen a product as good as Zygor Guides! (I levled a Hunter from 1-85 on 5 days and 8 hours, and that is pretty insane).

I have read some threads here on the forum, about the gold making guide. And i know the product was pushed back during the Cataclysm release. "Quality before Quantity". When i read the thread, you guys was saying that the Guide will be released after the Cataclysm Guide.

As you probally know, people are waiting on the Gold and Proffesion Guide, aswell as i am.

I was wondering, is there any release date set yet. I know you guys are working hard on the other guides that is up at the moment, and that understandable, so dont take me wrong.

But anyhow thx for a great leveling experince overall.

Now that the dailies guide is ready the next big thing will be the gold guide. But until there is a definite release date you only get the one answer: when it's done.
I think you expect the guide in the next 10 weeks as Zygor earlier made a statement about the first quarter 2011.

Yeah, the only time Zygor will give any kind of release date is if it's an expansion and then the release date is when Blizzard releases the expansion. As Cartman pointed out Zygor has hinted at a Q1 2011 for the Gold & Professions guides, but there is nothing concrete and the closest you might see Zygor say for anything would be when it's just about done and he starts giving teaser posts a week or two before it's released.

Right now what will really slow down the progress is with still trying to track down various bugs in the Leveling guides. We have seen a nice decline in the number of bugs being reported so it shouldn't be too long before Zygor can start to really devote a lot of time toward a Gold & Professions guide.

There are still some bugs in the leveling guide to work out so there is one thing. Then he said he will probably need to rewrite the Northrend guide some to take into account that the xp to the next level has been cut there so you level faster than the guide says you will now. He will most likely also do a passover of the Outland guide to make sure that it's still up to date on things that blizzard may have changed. Then there are some problems with the dailies and events guide update for cataclysm stuff that he will have to fixed. Also he will most likely work on a new gold run for cataclysm and put that in and fix any bugs that may happen with it. Then there is the talent trees. There is a big bug with the cunning pet tree for hunter's that have a big problem with it being completely broken that needs to be fixed. Patch 4.0.6 is also coming out meaning that there may also be some changes to all of the guides that need to be taken into account. As soon as all of that is fixed he will maybe finally have some time to work on the G&P Guide. Also expect some time in maybe April or May for Blizzard to release the 4.1 patch and that means that will have to be taken into account in all of the guides also. May mean a total rewrite of the Mt. Hyjal guide or just adding of more quests. There will be dailies that will need to be added for Mt. Hyjal when it comes out for sure. So all this has to be taken into account before he writes the G&P Guide. Because he may need to make some major changes to it only after a month of it's release if he releases it by the end of Q1 2011 if blizzard does what they usually do with a patch and they most likely will.

I have a question thats only related to the question in this thread namely, will the gold guide be included in the guide package or will it be a seperate guide for wich you have to pay?

This will "more than likely" be the case. We don't forsee releasing this as a PDF since we would like this to be an Outstanding product that everyone will run to get! We do not have a release date, nor do we have "an estimated date" for this yet. We can tell you we still plan on having this but try to be patient (we know its hard! lol).

Nice more to look forward to when i hit 70 with my alts, but anyways i'm pretty sure they said they where not going to do this at first ?, a well its all nice

Yeah if I remember correctly they said they weren't going to do this around beginning of september but they announced they were going to do it after all sometime after the 4.0.1 patch dropped.

I have the same question and everything he said i love zygor guides i was wondering when gold guide coming out

None of us will know when it's coming out until Zygor announces that it's available for purchase. Just the way it is. All we can do is wait and have some patience.
