Waypoint arrow stuck

Apparently this problem is happening to me again. I tried re-installing, and that didn't seem to help. No matter what I do, I can't get the arrow to stay focused on a quest objective. The arrow continues to stay stuck down. It will try to point to a waypoint for about a second or two, but then it just goes back down again.

I just downloaded this today after an long hiatus from WoW. The guide did install an update while it was open in Windows.

Any ideas?

Type /re into the chat window to reload the UI and allow the travel system to get re-initialized and that will fix it.

It seems that after I logged out and back in, it fixed itself. I guess it just needed a chance to re-initialize like you said.
