May be due to the 4.3 patch. I'm LvL'n a Prot Pally and reached lvl 68. The guide directed me to Bladesedge. But I bought cold weather flying and went to NE. The guide instructed me that going to Borean Tundra was not appropriate. Not true, There or Howling Fjord is the smartest next move.

The guide is set up to get you to level 85 in the quickest time possible with the quests offered for the level range and your toons current level. With that said, if you disagree with where the guide is sending you, you can most certainly turn off the guide and work the areas you prefer and pick up again when you agree with the leveling process within the guide."The voices in my head may not be real, but they have some good ideas." -
ok. the guide did let me go there, so i didnt have to turn the guide off. u get more exp points per quest there, but your point is taken.Comment

The guide is designed to go to Northrend at level 70, that's why it says that Tundra and Fjord are not appropriate.
You may encounter quests you can't accept when told to when going to Northrend earlier.
As Alliance in the Tundra you are told to do the DHETA quests pretty early but they require level 70. If you encounter this just move on with the quarry and come back afterwards.Comment

I have a policy about when guiding when my characters go to Outland and Northrend.
Outland - level 60
Northrend - level 70
I just find it easier for me to level in both zones when I am a couple of levels ahead of the quests in the zones.Comment
