ZGVMacro

I've noticed that the Guide creates some targeting macros, such as ZGVMacro2 and ZGVMacro3. These look useful, but whenever I put them on an action bar they last only a very short while and then quickly disappear. This happens even when I have not advanced a step in the Guide.

Can anyone tell me the practical way these can be used?

p.s. A suggestion for the devs: instead of creating two separate macros when two different mobs are needed for the current quest, why not use just one macro that attempts to target the first and then tries again for the second if the first step did not result in a target? Like:

/cleartarget
/tar Prowler
/tar [noexists][dead] Young Forest Bear

If you go into the guide options there's a section for the Macros. In there is a button to assign a hotkey to the macro. That is your best way to use them. Currently the guide deletes a macro when a step is completed and then creates a new one for the next step and this is why they disappear from your hotbar. By assigning a hotkey you'll always have that available.

Hi guys, I see you talking about "ZGVMacro2 and ZGVMacro3" etc and "guide options there's a section for the Macros" but I can't see any macro section in the options or any macros like the above!

Please advise as all I can find is a textural section in the members area on Zygors website.

It's in the options of the Zygor guide in the game. It's called Magic Key. What you do with it is in those options set the keybind and it will do everything that is checked in the check boxes in the Magic Key section. The macro it's talking about is what the guide creates for each step of the guide for the Magic Key use and is created in the character specific macro section of the in game macro section.

Is there a reason I don't see any "magic key" in the options? =[ I been looking for 30 minutes lol

It has been removed from the options for now as the team work on re-vamping and improving the function of it.

This has to be fixed. I can't use it. The macro makes the guide so much better.
