Launch! 6 All-New Zygor Products?! Video Explains All

    Hey!

That's right, you read that correctly. :-) At Zygor, we've
been hard at work over the last few months creating a slew of
new and exciting products. To top it off, we've made it easier
than ever to get ALL of them! This video explains it all:

    http://www.zygorguides.com

For the past 5 years, Zygor Guides have been the best selling
World of Warcraft guides on the market. This is a testament
to our dedicated and creative staff, our outstanding customer
support and, of course, to our amazing customers.

Thank You for Making Zygor #1!

We couldn't have done it without you.

Just as World of Warcraft is a community-based game, we are a
community-based company. We cherish our relationship with
customers like yourself -- but we also understand that in order
to maintain your trust, we need to...EVOLVE.

Change. A community-based game like World of Warcraft has to
change in order to stay relevant and interesting for players
and a successful company like Zygor has to change in order to
    remain relevant, as well.

That is why we are about to embark on an exciting new journey...
offering a brand new way to do business together -- one that
gives customers the best value for their dollar while maximizing
    our effectiveness in the long-term.

By our estimates, World of Warcraft is nearing the middle of
its life cycle and has anywhere from 3 to 5 years left as the
most popular online role-playing game. To compensate, Blizzard
has expanded their free trials to reach more customers. They've
also announced that new content and expansions will be released
much faster to solidify customer loyalty...

At Zygor, we asked ourselves how we should change to reflect
    the shift in the community.

Instead of asking customers to pay a lump sum for every product
(and extra fees for upgrades) we're now offering access to our
entire suite of products with all updates included for a much
    smaller fee.

Come join us as we march into the new era of guides and let us
know what you think by leaving a comment below the video!

See you there. :-) Take care.

I watched the video, and as soon as I heard "low monthly fee" I lost all respect I had for this guide.
        That's really dumb.

Not sure how I feel about this. I suppose it depends on what the price will be.

When I bought the guides 3 years ago it was supposed to be lifetime updates. Now a monthly fee? No thanks. If there are more guides can u just buy guide and fore go monthly fee?

Could you explain a little what this means to those who have already purchased? Are we losing updates now? If you do stop updates, I think it is a little ridiculous to abandon those who have purchased the guide.

                    Monthly fees suck

I pay a monthly fee for the game. I do not want to pay a monthly fee for a guide. Nor do I want to pay full price for small updates.

I will wait until I hear more to make a decision on this. Initially though, it makes me wonder what will become of all that have paid a ton of cash for these guides. I have spent so much in purchasing these guides, and have no desire at all to pay monthly fees on top of what I have already invested. As I said, I will wait to hear more, but it doesn't sound promising at all.

If you have already purchases guides from us you do not have to worry. You will continue to receive updates to your guides per our lifetime updates policy. However when an expansion comes around you would need to sign up for the subscription as opposed to paying tons of upgrade fees per guide. Also, you would need to sign up for the subscription if you're interested in any of our new Professions, Achievements, Pets & Mounts, Titles, Reputations and Macros guides.

Let's wait until Thursday to find out, please. There's a reason I don't post on forums much. A lot of what's said is negative toward the game and the guide. It's OK for people to have an opinion on things, but go too far and I tune out to the point that I might report posts. Have faith that the system will be both fair and equitable.

I can do that since the guides will not be released until next Tuesday.

Well I for one will not be subscribing no matter what the cost and so when the expansion comes out will just deal with the in-game quest trackers instead. I have no interest in profession/mount/etc. guides. I've paid as much as I am going to. Trying to make it sound like it is good for the users is just marketing spin. It is just way to get continuing revenue stream from us.
