SIS Endless Loop

I just purchased the full version of Zygor guides after trying the Trial Version,, which took me to the finish of Redrdge. I have a lvl 28 Mage and after installing the full version, the only options the guide provided under the suggest tab were Wetlands (19-21), Redridge (16-21) and Darkshore. Since I just completed Redridge, I chose it. When I right click the step forward arrow to activate SIS the program quickly proceeds through all the steps for Redridge and upon completing the last step, instead of proceeding to the next guide, the step process revert back to step one of the Redridge guide resulting in an endless loop that repeats over and over again. Even if I go from the last Redridge step manualy it reverts back to step one. I installed the guides repeatedly using the automatice installer after deleting the Zygor guides from the addons folder.
I have repaired the files using the installer. I have complete deleted the WTF folder from the WoW directory all without resolution to the problem. I have tried to manually choose a higher lvl guide but see no options available to do so. The same problem exist for a lvl 62 character on another realm. Is there some setting or option that I am missing?

I wish that I could provide some reassurance but I cannot. I can only tell you that this same problem happens on Horde characters of the same level in Ashenvale and Azshara. I experienced this a week ago, emailed customer support and still haven't had a resolution. Instead they said "Best of luck finding another leveling guide."

@Ornaga: I highly doubt they said that. The team here busts their asses to get things done. The only way I could see them telling you "Best of luck finding another leveling guide.", is if you threatened to do so. Stop being a douche.

@Op: Until they get that minor bug fixed, I would suggest manually choosing the next guide. The option should still be there. I have played WoW in a couple weeks so I can't recall the layout of the addon's UI lol.

It seems you have still the trial version installed.
Make sure your login information are set correctly in the updater. Your password should not contain special characters.

Andryon, another possible problem might be that you have multiple AddOns folders and the game is using a different folder than where you're installing. Go thru with what Cartman has and if it still has problems check your hard drive for multiple AddOns folders.

Cartman you were dead on! Very perceptive. All those reloads were for the trial version. Oh well, live and learn. I am impressed, with the freely and speedy replies, which speaks well of Zygor.

Your indulgence for one more question. How do you toggle the fancy frame that surrounds the quests steps??

Damn, I forget which button it is on the viewer window (I've always left it in full mode and never switched). One way to do it is to go into the settings and below all the scale and font sliders you'll see two sections. Each section controls how the window appears when in full/minimal modes. I believe each section also has a check box to mark which one you want to be the active one.

I think your are indicating the display window settings, which control whether the steps are brief or spelled out in more detail, but nothing that I can see which would toggle the border. Above that is the Window skin box which has a default setting and no other option. One would figure the toggle switch would be located in this area. I have tried just resetting this whole page without result. The only reason I am asking the question is that I lost the fancy border during the trial version by accident and could not get it back. I was hoping with the installation of the full version it would magically re-appear. No luck there.....

That midnight skin is the only skin available right now. Zygor has said that he may add more skins later but it will be awhile.

Ok, logged into the game to look at it again. What you're looking for is in those options there. In with the Display Modes section you have 2 sub-sections, Primary and Secondary Modes. Each of those has an Active check box (for making it the one you want to show for step details), a drop down box (for setting how many steps to show at a time), and 4 other check boxes. There are 2 check boxes that deal with the border and showing the controls, they are marked Hide Controls and Completely. If you have Hide Controls checked this will hide the border of the viewer until you mouse over it for a couple of seconds. If you also have the Completely checked then the border will not appear until you right click on a step and select Show Controls. If you would like to see the border all the time then just uncheck these 2 boxes.

with your last post, I think we are talking apples and oranges. If I read you correctly you are talking about the black and gray frame that surrounds the step by step instructions. My question is how do you toggle the fancy border (skin) which I think you can change the colors. When I did have it, the border was silver and purple and surrounds the black and gray frame that is controlled by steps described above. In addition how do you change the color of the skin if there is there a way to do that? An example of what I am talking about can be seen in the video at the top of the dallies page at approx 2:35 mins into the video

The video you are looking at is a old video of version 2.0 of the guide that is no longer available. And there are no other skins right now as per my earlier post number 12.
